The Containers shown on this page are generally manufactured for our Lugger (ConverTainer) product line.

The photograph above illustrates a Low Side Covered Container in the extended dump mode. It is a demonstration. Examining the photo and the tables below you notice the numerous types of Containers, finish treatments and functionality that they are designed to perform. An Enclosed Container may be used in hauling sludge or for dust collection. They may contain access panels and openings to provide for monitoring and drainage. Open High and Low Side Containers are used generally in the area of scrap metal and rubbish recycling and disposal. Converto makes practical, feasible designs in the manufacture of these Containers. Because you most likely have an installed base of Trade Containers Converto manufactures the hoist(s) that will work with them.

Low Side Container Table

This table along with the other tables on this page are a short list of some of the more common containers used in the industry. It is a starting off point.  It tracks the ConverTainer LUGGER hoist model and the cubic yard capacity (it varies a little sometimes). It also gives you a estimate of the gross weight of the container. Obviously material specifications and design features will need to be taken into weight consideration.

Hi Side Containers

High Side Container information :  Pick up or dump from either sludge, scrap, metal or rubbish.  Sizes range from 3 to 22 cubic yards for scrap and raw materials.  Sizes 6 to 27 cubic yards for dust collectors.  4 to 27 cubic yards for rubbish and big-bulk applications.

Enclosed Containers / Engineered Tanks

Enclosed Containers come in a number of applications and functions. Engineered tanks are suitable for fluids, fire foam and special sludge.  In most instances (although not always) enclosed and engineered Containers are involved in extra-scrap applications.  Enclosed Container info Sizes 12 to 22-27 cubic yards for convenient loading.
